We commit to defending the well-being and improving the living conditions of bees.

Therefore, we contribute to the repopulation of bees and plants to aid in the preservation of biodiversity and the proper functioning of natural environments.

AWARENESS PROJECT

As advocates for change, we commit to spreading awareness about the importance of bees and their preservation for the planet.

For this reason, we hold talks in schools and universities to raise awareness among the population.

DID YOU KNOW?

Bees are fundamental for their pollination role. By transporting pollen from flower to flower, they contribute to the preservation of biodiversity. This task is not only performed by bees but also by other essential pollinators such as butterflies, birds, moths, beetles…

Key facts

In Spain, there are more than 1,000 species of bees, and only 5 of them produce honey.
75% of the food we consume depend on pollination.
The queen bee can live up to 6 years, while a worker bee lives between 30 and 60 days.
When a bee detects food, it alerts its companions with a dance.
A single bee can visit up to 7,000 flowers each day.
1 kg of honey = 2,500 bees = 4,000,000 visited flowers.

HOW CAN I HELP

PLANT FLOWERS

In your garden or terrace, such as rosemary, thyme, lavender, sage, cilantro, fennel, geranium, sunflower…
A VARIED GARDEN

Ensure there are flowers in different seasons of the year, as bees work almost all year round, except in winter. This means always having flowers available for them.
CHEMICAL FREE

Minimize the use of chemical products, opting for natural fertilizers.
CONSUME HONEY

Support beekeepers by buying honey, contributing to the well-being of bees, and ensuring the preservation of the diversity and vitality of the region.
